This feathery fluffy cool gray owl was crocheted freehand and given striking metal and glass eyes.
The body is a pretty cool gray color that is soft and feathery fuzzy to touch, the beak appears knitted. The yarn is made of unknown man made fibers, most likely polyester or acrylic, and stuffed with with polyester fiber fill. The good news about man made fibers is that if needed this owl could be gently hand washed in cold water and mild detergent, lightly squeezed in a towel and then left out to air dry.
The eyes are one of a kind made of a reclaimed metal disc (concho) and a glass button. They are nicely detailed with a glossy black center surrounded by a bright shiny metalic silver design.
The owl measures about 3 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is very light to carry, soft and squeezable.
