The body is a mottled gray and white as two colors of yarn were combined to crochet with. The texture is rough and bumpy and firm. The beak is soft and white. The yarn is made of unknown man made fibers, most likely polyester or acrylic, and the owl is stuffed with with polyester fiber fill.
The shiny black center and gold metallic surround of these large vintage style button eyes give this owls eyes a special look. The buttons are plastic and upcycled.
The owl measures about 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches and is very light and squeezable.
